Windporta

Windporta is the capital city of the Aetherian Republic within the continent of Amnisica. Windporta is placed on top of a large river as it meets the sea, which allows a lot of import and export trade. It is home to a large amount of industry and immigration into the city is quite common, as immigrants believe they'll find jobs there. This has led to it growing in size exponentially to ensure all the immigrants have enough housing to live comfortably.  

History

Windporta has gone through much in its time, having been the target of many sieges and invasions. Despite this, it remains a bulwark and a pride of the Aetherian people, for it endured through every last one of them. The most recent attempts at besieging it have been the most dangerous.   One of said sieges was sprung by Clan Gluttonclaw, and ended with a wild-bomb detonation in its town square. Luckily, it had been evacuated by then, but it was still a significant hit; not only to the infrastructure but the city's pride.   Since then, the city has grown stronger and stronger as more of the funding poured into the defense and safety of the Portan people. Of course, the safety of the city is still subject to suspicion by other factions, especially the mighty Order.
