"Don't kill me!"
Otis Barkut cried out when the door behind which he had been hiding flew open and the muzzle of a sizeable gun pressed into his forehead before he could finish those words. A forceful hand pinned him against the wall and the impact winded him.
"Why are they after you?" Deeno's grip was strong.
"I don't know!" Slammed into the wall again. "Okay! Okay, it could be any number of reasons."
"Start. Talking. Now."
"It's probably because I cheated a rich moon Baron out of half his fortune. Taking his daughters virginity didn't help matters either."
"Is that all?"
"No. Wait, what? Is that all? That's pretty bad. Baron Defulgar has a wicked temper."
"So should we hand you over to this bounty hunter?"
"Of course not!" Otis began to choke under the pressure with which Deeno was pinning him.
"Come with me." Deeno pulled Otis out into the corridor and he forced the man to walk first. "Be quiet. I'm using you for a shield if we draw any attention."
The two travelled around aft along a lesser used access way. After a few minutes voices could be heard from up ahead. Deeno recognized one and the other was unfamiliar to him. He slowed his approach and listened intently. The one voice he could place was Lo Qyun. The strange one was aggressive and harsh. Threatening.
